Cash Control Clerk

Job Summary of Cash Control Clerk:

Providing excellent customer service, overseeing customer transactions at the point of sale (POS), restocking items, and preserving the store's brand and overall appearance are key duties of the Cash Control Clerk.

Responsibilities for Cash Control Clerk:

• Demonstrate leadership effectiveness in boosting sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding all defined store and individual goals
• Meet or exceed all specified goals. These may involve sales objectives, hourly productivity targets, average dollar sale (ADS), units per transaction (UPT), conversion rates (if applicable), charge account acquisitions, contest performance, and any additional key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the brand
• Display a sound understanding and skilled utilization of sales techniques and customer service protocols detailed in Company's training sessions
• Develop and uphold connections with customers through a friendly demeanor and superb customer service
• Actively participate in all contests, promotions, and sales incentive programs. Responsible for contributing to efforts in the stores achievements
• Comply with the company's criteria for appearance, efficiency, knowledge, and personal care
• Maintain awareness of all sales promotions. Efficiently handle multiple customers and projects. Print merchandise tags promptly
• Grasp and transmit customer merchandise needs, and engage with Store Management to assess whether the store's merchandise range adequately addresses or falls short of meeting local requirements
• Sustain the uniform oversight of products and fulfill the daily cash wrap tasks as directed
• Display professionalism when engaging with customers by ensuring that phone calls are answered in a polite and professional manner

Qualifications for Cash Control Clerk:

• Attaining 18 years of age is a prerequisite
• Previous retail work history is considered a positive attribute
• Thorough examination of particulars
• Capable of working different schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Maintaining a neat appearance and grooming oneself appropriately is a must
• The candidate will need to be able to stand for long stretches of time without significant rest periods.
• Exerting effort to lift between 15 and 30 pounds.
