Job Summary of Prep Cook:
As a Prep Cook, your primary responsibility is to utilize the proper tools to prepare all items according to our recipes, plate presentations, and specifications. Additionally, it is important to maintain a tidy work area and always verify the quality, quantity, appearance, and temperature of the products.
Responsibilities of Prep Cook:
- Duties of this position will include set up of equipment,
- Verification of stock, cleaning of cooking equipment
- Managing flow of food orders, follow sanitation and safety standards.
Requirements of Prep Cook:
- Requirements of this position include a good sense of balance, the ability to multi-task
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds at waist height and remaining standing for prolonged periods as needed.
- The ideal candidate must have basic skills in reading, writing, and verbal communication, a willingness to work alongside peers in a team setting, and the capability to maintain swift mobility for up to 8 hours continuously.
- This role also involves using motion that includes bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous coordinated use of fingers and wrists.
