Job Summary of Branch Financial Planning Manager:

As an Branch Financial Planning Manager, you will supervise the day-to-day operations of the branch, train and mentor teller staff, and assist in fostering a culture of ongoing sales performance under the guidance of the Branch Manager. By actively promoting bank products and services, you will help customers achieve their financial goals and refer them to specialized bank professionals as needed. You will also act as the full manager in the absence of the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities of Branch Financial Planning Manager:

  • Supervise the handling of a range of standard financial operations, such as cashing checks, making withdrawals, depositing funds, and repaying loans.
  • In control of acting as a leader in sales, operations, and client service, overseeing branch operations, and providing training and guidance to the teller team.
  • Aid in operational tasks to ensure their timely completion. Adhere to policies and procedures to minimize risks and attain favorable outcomes in internal audits.
  • Facilitate clients in grasping their current and upcoming financial requirements by engaging in proactive discussions using the Banner Way technique and tools.
  • Responsible for offering customized options that fulfill the client's individual financial requirements. Direct clients to suitable departments within the organization. Address inquiries and solve any technical issues related to client accounts.
  • Formulate and uphold extensive knowledge of operational procedures and prerequisites to meet compliance guidelines.
  • Responsible for compliance with and overseeing adherence to policies, procedures, security requirements, and governmental regulations.

Requirements of Branch Financial Planning Manager:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
  • NMLS registration preferred
  • 4 or more years of retail banking experience required
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process or team Required
  • Extensive knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems. Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services. Demonstrated knowledge of all complex accounts, and consumer and QuickStep lending.
  • Proven client service, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills; proper phone and email etiquette required.
  • Possess effective selling, cross selling and referral skills.
  • Possess strong mathematical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze client credit data and other related financial information.
  • Experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role.
  • Travel upto 20%
