Job Summary of Line Cook:
In the position of a Line Cook individual, you will need to ensure the correct tools are used for the preparation of all items following our recipes, plate presentations, and specifications, while also keeping your work area clean and monitoring the quality, quantity, appearance, and temperature of the dishes consistently.
Responsibilities of Line Cook:
- This role will require setting up the necessary equipment
- Checking stock levels and cleaning cooking equipment
- Supervising the handling of food orders while ensuring adherence to sanitation and safety measures.
Requirements of Line Cook:
- Requirements of this position include a good sense of balance, the ability to multi-task
- Lift up to 50 pounds waist high, and stand for long periods of time.
- A qualified applicant must have basic reading, writing and verbal communication skills, and the willingness to work with others as a team, and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length.
- This position also requires you to use motion that entails bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
