Job Summary of Shift Support Leader:
As a Shift Support Leader you will support other management levels by running great shifts and leading teams self-sufficiently.Shift Support Leaders must take ownership and responsibility to solve problems while being willing to provide help and guidance to others.Shift Support Leaders should have strong leadership qualities and organizational skills with a confident, professional manner, and can give clear concise instructions, exhibit good time management skills and good problem-solving and decision-making.
Responsibilities of Shift Support Leader:
- Maintain a polite and friendly attitude towards everyone, creating a welcoming environment for both visitors and coworkers. Show enthusiasm and positivity in interactions with guests and colleagues alike.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and quality dishes efficiently to each customer.
- Demonstrates excellent teamwork skills and effectively interacts with management and peers. Shows a willingness to cooperate with others and contribute to the team success. Offers support to colleagues when necessary, showcasing a collaborative approach.
- Takes action without being told, willing to go above and beyond what is simply required. Role Model that customer needs are the highest priority. Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations.
- Monitor the appearance and uniform compliance of all team members. Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed correctly and on time by team members. Lead the team as the Manager in Charge to ensure adherence to company standards for service, food safety, and operational procedures.
- Offers consistent constructive feedback and encouragement to the team. Takes part in training and supporting the development of team members.
- Enforce cash control measures, track inventory levels, and supervise labor allocation to ensure efficient operations.
Qualification of Shift Support Leader:
- Must be 18 years or older. Experience: One-year Restaurant experience required with proven lead experience on all shifts.
- Must maintain current Health Card according to state or local requirements. Education: Basic math & reading skills.
- Must have the ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
- Must have reliable transportation. Must pass Criminal Background Check.
- Must be able to pass ServSafe Certification Course and Exam.
