Shift Specialist

Job Summary of Shift Specialist:

As a Shift Specialist you will support other management levels by running great shifts and leading teams self-sufficiently. Shift Specialists must take ownership and responsibility to solve problems while being willing to provide help and guidance to others. Shift Specialists should have strong leadership qualities and organizational skills with a confident, professional manner, and can give clear concise instructions, exhibit good time management skills and good problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities of Shift Specialist:

• Engage with others in a friendly and courteous manner, promoting a welcoming environment for both team members and guests. Show a positive and enthusiastic attitude when interacting with colleagues and visitors.
• Deliver prompt and excellent service alongside delicious meals for all guests.
• Thrives in a team-based setting, effectively engaging with management and colleagues. Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate with others and contribute positively to team dynamics. Assists team members where required, showcasing strong teamwork abilities.
• Takes action without being told, willing to go above and beyond what is simply required. Role Model that customer needs are the highest priority. Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations.
• Supervise the team to ensure they maintain a clean appearance and wear the company uniform correctly. Make sure that all tasks assigned are completed accurately and promptly by team members. Lead the team as the Manager in Charge to guarantee that service, food safety, and company procedures are consistently met.
• Provides ongoing positive feedback and support to the team. Plays an active role in training and developing Team Members.
• Communicate regularly with the RGM and other managers about team performance and operational efficiencies.

Qualification of Shift Specialist:

• Must be 18 years or older. Experience: One-year Restaurant experience required with proven lead experience on all shifts.
• Must maintain current Health Card according to state or local requirements. Education: Basic math & reading skills.
• Must have the ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
• Must have reliable transportation. Must pass Criminal Background Check.
• Must be able to pass ServSafe Certification Course and Exam.
