Job Summary of Branch Service Coordinator:
As an Branch Service Coordinator you will lead the day-to-day operations of the branch. Supervise, train, and coach Teller staff. Support the Branch Manager in developing an on going sales performance culture. Effectively assist clients in achieving their financial goals by actively referring Bank products and services. Refer clients to other Bank specialists when applicable. Act in full management capacity in the absence of a Branch Manager.
Responsibilities of Branch Service Coordinator:
- Direct the execution of a range of standard financial transactions, which could involve activities like check cashing, withdrawals, cash deposits, and loan payments.
- Responsible for acting as a leader in sales, operations, and customer service, managing branch operations, and mentoring and coaching the teller team.
- Assist in the completion of operational responsibilities within set timelines, while adhering to policies and procedures to mitigate risks and achieve favorable results in internal audits.
- Help clients understand their current and future financial needs through proactive conversations using the Banner Way methodology and tools.
- Obligated to present custom-made solutions that fulfill the individual financial requirements of the client. Redirect clients to other branches of the company as suitable. Handle inquiries and address technical issues related to client accounts.
- Maintain a nuanced understanding of all operational processes and necessities to comply with standards.
- Obligated to observe and enforce policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations among staff.
Requirements of Branch Service Coordinator:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
- NMLS registration preferred
- 4 or more years of retail banking experience required
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process or team Required
Skills of Branch Service Coordinator:
- Proven client service, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills; proper phone and email etiquette required.
- Possess effective selling, cross selling and referral skills.
- Possess strong mathematical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze client credit data and other related financial information.
- Experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role.
- Extensive knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems. Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services. Demonstrated knowledge of all complex accounts, and consumer and QuickStep lending.

The specifications for becoming an Assistant Branch Manager:
- This position mandates a high school diploma or a corresponding credential
- NMLS registration preferred
