Job Summary of Financial Solutions Advisor:
In the role of an Financial Solutions Advisor, you will be responsible for supervising the operations within the branch, providing mentorship to tellers, and assisting in fostering a sales-oriented environment with the guidance of the Branch Manager. Your role involves actively promoting and suggesting bank products and services to clients to aid them in achieving their financial objectives, as well as making referrals to other specialized bank professionals. Additionally, you will be tasked with assuming full managerial responsibilities when the Branch Manager is not present.
Responsibilities of Financial Solutions Advisor:
- Supervise the completion of different ordinary financial transactions, which may include check cashing, withdrawal requests, deposit activities, and loan payment processing.
- Responsible for leading the sales, operations, and client service efforts, managing branch operations, and providing training and mentoring to tellers.
- Support in executing operational tasks promptly and in adherence to policies and procedures to minimize risks and achieve satisfactory outcomes in internal audits.
- Assist customers in understanding their present and future financial needs through proactive conversations using the Banner Way method and tools.
- Tasked with providing personalized recommendations that address the specific financial needs of the client. Direct clients to relevant departments within the company as required. Address questions and resolve technical issues on client accounts.
- Develop and uphold a deep comprehension of operational processes and needs to meet compliance regulations proficiently.
- Accountable for conforming to and guaranteeing staff adherence to policies, protocols, security standards, and regulatory directives.
Requirements of Financial Solutions Advisor:
- 4 or more years of retail banking experience required
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process or team Required
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
- NMLS registration preferred
Skills of Financial Solutions Advisor:
- Proven client service, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills; proper phone and email etiquette required.
- Possess effective selling, cross selling and referral skills.
- Possess strong mathematical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze client credit data and other related financial information.
- Experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role.
- Extensive knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems. Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services. Demonstrated knowledge of all complex accounts, and consumer and QuickStep lending.

Qualifications essential for the position of Assistant Branch Manager:
